Warrandyte Lions Grants
Warrandyte Lions Club is offering grants to suitable organisations in the community with the objective of improving the lives of Warrandyte residents. All grants will be considered however it is estimated that successful grants will be in the range of $5,000 - $30,000.
Priority will be given to projects that improve or contribute new community infrastructure that will provide long term benefits to the community.
Process
Criteria
The following criteria will be used in evaluating grant submissions.

Project is delivering benefits to Warrandyte and its residents

The applicant is a not-for-profit organisation, club, or a local school or kindergarten

The project has a significant capital expenditure component

The project can be completed by 30 June 2026

Recognition of Warrandyte Lions is included in final delivery

Project Delivery
Warrandyte Lions will work with each of the successful applicants to develop a project plan, with appropriate checks and balances, that is acceptable to both Warrandyte Lions and recipient organisation.
The recipient organisation will provide monthly project updates to Warrandyte Lions.
Disbursement of the grant money will by progress payments, or another method agreed by both parties prior to the commencement of the project.
The recipient will be required to provide a full acquittal of the project costs at the completion of the project.
